Overall, I'm a pretty boring guy. A self-described asshole (hey, I might as well say it before anyone else, right?).
Basically, I'm retired, and I read and write a lot, and don't do social media because I despise it.
Other than that, pull up a chair, look around, and feel free to hit me up. Let's talk horror!

Welcome to my nightmares.
News!
September 13, 2025 - dReadCon 2025! Robert Edgar Walton and I will be at the Burlington Holiday Inn, talking stupidly, making fun of each other, bugging the attendees, and trying to sell our stuff. You get get more info on it here.
July 7, 2025 - GEORGE WATERTOWER AND OTHER CHILDHOOD TERRORS. This is an anthology I was invited to (as a Watertower Hill author, and it's all about urban legends...those ghosts and hauntings and killers' stories we all heard around a camp fire or at a sleep over, created to scare kids straight...or scare them out of their minds..
And so, here is the amazing cover (designed after pulp horror magazine covers from the 50s and 60s) for the upcoming anthology.

March 31, 2025 - The deadline for the incredible Jenn Johnson to complete the narration of UGLY STORIES, Vol 1 (which means it should be available roughly April 7 or so...)
March 1, 2025 - I'm really stepping outside my comfort zone, but the UGLY STORIES collections have short notes about each story, detailing either how I came to write the story, or how I feel about it, or some other info. I thought, for the audiobook versions, why not record those personal recollections myself. So, today, I got down all my parts for the audiobook.

Anything that happens to be noteworthy in the otherwise dull life of this horror author will be noted down for posterity here. How exciting!
